Doesn't seem to auto fill even though settings are correct. The most complicated aspect of this process is recalling the Secret Key (opens in new tab), 1Password's special sauce that adds an additional layer of protection to the login process. You download the Chrome extension and sign in through a simple web interface. They won’t consider any other password manager. Many of my colleagues who use the Mac, iPhone, and iPad swear by 1Password. Oh, and the impetus for 1Password X was ostensibly Linux support, a thread for which reportedly received over 75,000 views in the company's support forums. Its hard for malware authors to infect the chromebook with stuff like keyloggers etc. 1Password has the Watchtower function, which alerts you to sites where you could be using two-factor authentication, sites that had a known security breach. 1Password X, which quietly emerged from beta in mid-November (opens in new tab), is a native Chrome app that provides the exact same functionality in the browser as a Mac or PC equivalent running behind the scenes. I think its basically the ideal place for 1Password to be running. ![]()
